Cladding begins long before installation. It starts with an architectural idea, develops through drawings and material choices, and takes shape in the fabrication of individual elements. This is where IFADRA comes in.
The project draws on Italiana Serramenti’s experience and focuses it on bespoke panels. Work across cladding, facades, windows and installation helps us consider each element in the context of the building: folds, joints and transitions all belong to the same whole.
We support designers and builders through direct dialogue between technical development, fabrication and site requirements. We can work from an established layout or help develop the facade design, defining geometry, materials and fabrication together.

We support the stages your project needs: from design development to the supply of fabricated panels, with installation also available for assessment.

We design the facade
Using the client’s drawings, dimensions and requirements, we develop the technical cladding design: geometry, panel sizes, production details and panel schedules. Discussion of the architectural result continues as we prepare for production.

We shape the material
Bespoke cutting, CNC routing, drilling and preparation of composite and HPL panels. Composites can also be folded, formed into cassettes and riveted, creating three-dimensional surfaces that respond differently to light. HPL is fabricated flat.

We prepare the supply
We source materials and prepare elements to the agreed fabrication requirements. We can supply fabricated flat panels or pre-folded composite panels and cassettes, coordinating supply with the project and destination.

We also assess installation
In Italy, design and supply can be combined with installation on site, agreed according to the scope of the project. For international supply, installation is arranged by the client.

Italiana Serramenti’s experience includes projects taken from design through to installation, spanning cladding, curtain walling and windows. That connection to the site informs the way we develop panels and approach transitions between different materials.
Our project photographs show concrete stages: technical elevations, panel preparation, installation and the completed building. We show both the whole and the detail, because their relationship reveals the work involved.
